This thread will catalogue the flags used by the Empire of Ikhan throughout it's history, in no particular order from it's founding as the First Empire under Khorai I until the present day. A description will, on occasion, be provided as well.
The National Flag of the Empire of Ikhan (1953 - Present)
The flag of Ikhan comprises of a field of red with black and white stripes as well as five stars. These stars have a debatable meaning, perhaps referring to the Pentarchy which formerly ruled before the establishment of the First Empire of Ikhan, or perhaps referring to an old Arashin proverb which was used to teach the people to seek unity in all things. Others believe, however, that it is simply an artistic choice. The points on the sinister side of the flag are seen as to represent the four largest mountains in Ikhan, while the areas in between represent the rivers.
The National Flag of the Empire of Ikhan (1946 - 1953)
The national flag used during the later part of the Ikirist era, this flag bears a single notable difference to that of the one used in the modern day— It has an additional point in the middle. While it held no symbolic value when it was originally used, the so-called "five-point flag" has come to be associated with the Ikirist regime and all of the pain that it caused.
The National Flag of the Empire of Ikhan (1885 - 1946)
The first national flag used by the Empire of Ikhan was designed in a period when the nation sought to imitate it's neighbors, which led to a departure from the more traditional style of flag as seen in more recent versions. Indeed, this flag was designed in the same era as the flags of Lekhai and Rusan, which followed the same influences.
