Biography:
What makes someone's life particularly exceptional? Is it their skill, or perhaps down to luck? Whatever the case may be, those who are born into the Harin family certainly have an advantage, given their political influence within Ikhan since the 50's. One of the "modern clans", as it were, given how important to modern Ikhan they had been. Like the Virasid line of Clan Khasa and the Vahram Dynasty, sometimes power truly did pass down from generation to generation. But not all of those who are born to such families are destined for a life in politics.
Take Kira Harin, the second child of Ambassador Erel and Yuna Harin. Being the second child of the Ambassador, while not necessarily closing the door, meant that she wouldn't likely devote herself full-time to politics. Quite frankly, in her eyes this was a blessing in disguise, seeing as she personally had no wish to go into politics herself. What she really wanted, ever since seeing the 2002 All-Ikhan Fencing Tournament in person, was to mimic her heroes and fight in such a tournament. Thus, starting from the age of eight, she would regularly attend classes on fencing with the hope of competing in the tournament herself. In 2019, she got her wish when she fought (and won) in the National Tournament. Following this, she would be recruited for the Ikhani National team that would take part in the 2020 Mundus Games. There, she would compete in the Women's Sabre-fencing event, winning the Gold Medal in said event.
